Do you travel by aircraft with your DJI Inspire and batteries?
Did you know that the FAA and other regulatory bodies around the world stipulate that spare (uninstalled) lithium ion batteries must be carried in carry-on baggage only and the battery terminals must be protected from short circuit?
You can use Lipo bags or even cover the terminals with tape but this can be inconvenient, expensive and add potential delays at the security gate.
The alternative is to use the quick, simple and effective TravelSafe (TM) Battery Terminal Protector from Aero3D. This simple lightweight protector simply pushes over your TB47 or TB48 battery terminal posts with lugs that engage safely and cleanly into port openings (they do not extend as far as the actual internal metal battery connectors) plus a unique clip that prevents accidental removal. The protector also covers the recessed metal data contacts to the side, thus ensuring complete safety and peace of mind.
Leave no opportunity for airport security to question the safety of your lipos. As they won't know which contacts are for power or data show you are safety conscious by leaving no bare contacts exposed.
Note: Upon insertion and removal they MUST be removed straight. Twisting or lifting the Travelsafe protector during insertion or removal could cause the plastic 'blades' on the guard to snap off. This will not in any way harm your battery as these plastic blades do not extend into the internal battery connectors, only into the first mm or so of the port opening. If this should happen simply remove the plastic part and discard.
